John Di Dio was easy to work with, knowledgeable, and creative throughout the duration of our project. Despite a couple of challenging obstacles, Helios Solar outfitted our unusual rooftop with an impressive system that makes the most of just about every available surface to produce ample generation. All along the way the work was professionally executed and aesthetically sensitive. Based on our experience, we highly recommend John and Helios if you are considering a solar installation.

After researching a ton of solar companies and getting a million quotes, working with John at Helios Solar Energy was a total breath of fresh air. What drew me to them were the great reviews, and they definitely lived up to the hype. Right from our first conversation, John was super detailed, never rushed me, and answered all my many questions with zero fluff. He was always quick to return calls, and his crew was awesome—really polite and great about cleaning up all the construction mess. Even when we hit a supply chain issue with the panels, John was totally straightforward and went way out of his way to sort things out, even though it wasn't his fault. To top it off, his price beat everyone else by a mile. He really has his act together, and I'm super confident his company will be around for the long haul if I ever need future repairs. I honestly can't recommend them enough!

After a different company left me in the dust, John was so helpful and exactly what I was looking for all along. He quickly got the ball rolling to get my solar project done on a great timeline. I was very happy with the general timeline and his strong communication throughout. It was easy to text/email John, and he answered all the questions I had throughout the process. The installation in the fall was great and I’m now (in April) already getting more in solar sent back to the grid than I’m using. Exciting. It was important to me to support a small business. You’ll be treated like a good friend and not just a number. I’m very satisfied with how the panels look and the whole process, and I highly recommend John with Helios Solar Energy.

John and his team worked hard to learn from every hiccup, and when we got down to the wire on December 31st, he showed up and made it happen so I earn my federal credit. Obviously the process wasn't always smooth, and there were definitely some nervous moments along the way, when market was extremely competitive and distributors pivoting to meet 2025 deadline. John tho made it happen

What you should know about Helios:

· Best value I found – significantly lower pricing than other quotes for comparable equipment
· Committed to learning – when issues came up, John dug in, asked questions, and figured out solutions rather than making excuses
· Came through at the finish line – he was on site late on New Year's Eve to push for completion.

If you're looking for great price and someone who genuinely cares about getting it right, give John a call. Just go in with patience and clear communication, and he'll deliver.

I had an outstanding experience with John from Helios Solar Energy!.
From the initial discussion to the final inspection, John was knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely focused on delivering the best solution for my home that I wanted.

One of the things I appreciated most was that John gave me the flexibility to choose the hardware I wanted and understood why I want the specific hardware.

The installation was seamless, completed on time, and the crew did excellent work with a clean, professional finish. John stayed in contact throughout and made sure everything was working perfectly after the system was activated.

Since going live, my system has been producing more energy than I use—I'm actually net positive! This extra production is building up credits that I can use during the winter months, and I’m expecting to either break even or even stay slightly positive year-round. It’s a great feeling knowing my solar investment is not only reducing my carbon footprint but also saving me money all year long.

If you're thinking about going solar, I highly recommend John and the Helios Solar Energy team. They truly go above and beyond to deliver quality, transparency, and real result.

Thanks John for all the help.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! Helios Solar Energy made what I was expecting to be a stressful process, very easy and stressLESS! Helios has been exceptional in all ways! We needed to find a company to remove & reinstall our panels we lease from Sunrun, so we could get our roof replaced. We have not been happy with Sunrun. I called around and Helios gave a very good quote, compared to all the others I called.
The woman I spoke to initially, Leslie, was informative and cordial. I then spoke with John, who was very responsive, with most of my calls answered promptly by John just saying "hello" then my 1st name, which not only saved time on introductions but made me feel this company is personable and pays attention to who their customers are. Helios Solar Energy had the necessary insurance and was promptly approved by Sunrun. Helios came out a couple of days before our roof work began and got the panels put back up on our new roof about a week following our roof install. The crew was respectful and efficient and cleaned up all their debris. Because there were some issues with how Sunrun installed the panels and some extra parts were needed to be purchased for Helios Solar Energy to install the panel's properly and up-to-code, I was concerned how this was going to effect the final price, but no additional costs were added. Our solar panels are up & generating electricity once again! My review of this company is one of the best I've ever given but 100% deserved! My husband & I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service, starting with how efficient and pleasant Leslie was on the phone initially, through the repair work done for us - on another company’s installation error - that Helios stepped up to resolve. Thank you! Tom of Hamilton
